Hi, my name is Dikran Melkonian. Welcome to my site.
My family immigrated to the United States when I was six years old. I grew up in Northern California and after graduating high school we moved to Souther California, where I completed my BA Degree from the University of California Irvine, with a specialization in Criminology and Legal Studies. I completed my Masters of Fine Arts Degree for Film/TV Production at Chapman University in 2001. I recently completed the Masters Degree in Law Enforcement and Public Service Leadership program at the University of San Diego.
I have been fortunate to have coached both my sons in youth football, flag football, and basketball for 10 years. I've been blessed to have recently watch them play together on their varsity football team. I also coach our police cadet basketball team. I serve as a volunteer summer camp director yearly and enjoy meeting and guiding our youth.
I have many interests, including a football podcast and voice over talent production. I am in the beginning stages of writing a law enforcement/engagement related book. I enjoy teaching and had the opportunity to do so for ten years in the criminal justice field. I would like to continue teaching upon my retirement.
