The Los Angeles Police Department training has provided me with an incredible opportunity to ensure that our communities are protected, as public safety is of paramount concern for the care and well-being of our neighbors. I'm proud to have trained hundreds in the recognition, prevention, and tactical response to active shooter scenarios as a member of the Run, Hide and Fight Training cadre. I currently serve as a Terrorism Liaison Officer and have completed multiple training courses with the Joint Regional Intelligence Center, including Policing Violent Extremism, Advanced Threat Assessment, Foreign and Domestic Terrorist organizations. As a member of the National Crime Prevention Council, I have completed detailed site assessments for schools and businesses, and provide recommendations for crime reduction through environmental design.
